Dog River Recreational Complex Closed due to Dog River Reservoir Expansion Project

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (WSA) would like to thank the community for its continued support of the Dog River Reservoir Recreational Complex throughout the years. Due to recent cost-saving measures on the Dog River Reservoir Expansion Project and to ensure the public’s safety as we begin the project, the recreational complex is closed for the duration of the Dog River Reservoir Expansion Project. This closure applies to both the public and season pass holders. Please understand that this decision was not made lightly. With this abrupt closure of the recreational complex, we are also working on refunding all season pass holders.

WSA would like to thank the community for their cooperation, patience, and understanding in this effort. The Authority’s approach to managing the recreational complex is designed to maintain optimum water quality and enjoyment for our season pass holders, other public users, and all WSA customers. For questions or additional information, please contact Water Operations Manager Mike Henry at (770)949-7617 or AskWSA@ddcwsa.com.
