Douglasville Jr. Visits WSA

 

The Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority was recently visited by a friendly face – Freddy! Freddy, the puppet mascot of Douglasville Jr., stopped by to learn all about water with Executive Director Gil Shearouse. Douglasville Jr. is an award-winning web series created by the City of Douglasville to educate our youngest citizens about the community and meet the friendly faces of the fire department, animal shelter, library, and more. During his visit to WSA, Freddy was introduced to Douglas County’s main water source, the Dog River Reservoir, and learned the in’s and out’s of the water treatment process. We can’t wait for Freddy to visit again and learn even more cool information about water resources.
